Congratulations!

Your team is advancing to the Semifinals in Washington, D.C.

Congratulations on advancing to the semifinals of this year’s National Ethics Case Competition. Your team’s hard work stood out—not only for the strength of your analysis, but also for the thoughtful way you applied ethical and free market principles.

Rounds 1 and 2 challenged you to think carefully about complex dilemmas through written analysis. Round 3 (semifinals) will ask something different: to present your recommendations before a panel of senior executive judges and make the case for why your proposed path forward is the strongest one. This stage requires a different kind of preparation, and we are confident your team is up to the challenge.

The semifinal presentations will take place on Friday, April 17, at the Bush School of Government and Public Service in Washington, D.C. The link below includes important information about the competition. Please review these details carefully and complete all
required items.

Welcome to NECC

The Round 3 prompt and rubric will be sent to your Awards Force account and will be available on the competition website.

Your advancement in the competition demonstrates that ethical decision-making and economic freedom are not competing values. When thoughtfully applied together, they create innovation, opportunity, and long-term success that we can all be proud of.

We look forward to meeting you in Washington, D.C. next month!
